Battle of the Residents 2012




Congratulations to our Battle of the Residents 2012 participants, Ewa, Greg and Rachit, for bringing us our third win in 4 years!



A Fond Farewell


Another academic year has come and gone and we bid farewell to the class of 2011:

  • Joseph Eisenberg will be moving to Portland, Oregon to join a community clinic there.
  • Esther Min is joining Southern California Permanente in Gardena.
  • Melody Padilla will be with Southern California Permanente in Downey.
  • Akbar Rahman and Regina Wang will be traveling to South Africa to work for the next year.
  • Karen Rasmussen, after a few months with newborn Jude, will join several past program grads at Centers for Family Medicine in Los Alamitos.
  • Nasim Sadeghian is joining Southern California Permanente in San Juan Capistrano.
  • Dianne Song is joining Southern California Permanente in Huntington Beach.

    We will miss them and we wish them all the best!

    Hail to the Chiefs




    We're delighted to announce that the results are in and our new Administrative Chief Residents for 2012-13 are none other than Bethany Gray,D.O. and Cindy Jen, M.D. Joining them in his role as Academic Chief Resident will be Ryan Thompson, D.O. We so appreciate the sense of service that reflects their willingness to take on additional responsibility and our program will be in excellent hands for the upcoming academic year. Congratulations Bethany, Cindy and Ryan!
