I am grateful for everything that Long Beach Memorial had to offer. I learned excellent clinical skills and observed what it takes to be a compassionate physician. I cherish my memories from the residency program. I am also grateful for the supportive faculty that I had.
Toward the end of my residency, everyone used to tease me because I was
constantlly moonlighting at one shady clinic or another. I am happy to
report that my professional life has finally stabilized. After residency I
worked for about nine months in urgent care for a multi-specialty group in
Covina, California. In April 2003 I accepted a part-time position in Agoura
Hills, California and supplemented my income by working at the Westlake Village Urgent Care (along with Joey Liu and Sonia Devgan, both of whom are graduates of Long Beach). In June, 2005, I started solo family practice in Westalke Village.
I have enjoyed beeing my own "boss," but it does get hectic and quite stressful at times. Along with private practice, I am also the medical director of a local hospice agency. I never imagined I would
someday be a hopsice doctor. I simply fell into it and ended up loving it! Lesson Learned: Always keep an open mind!!!!!
Most importantly .... my wife, Nicole, and I have been blessed with two beautiful daughters. Taline was born in September, 2003, and Nyrie was born in April, 2005.
