Frank Lowe and I started our group out of residency. We have now grown to include ten doctors and four nurse practitioners in our two offices. Our practice is full-spectrum (except for Ob), and includes on-site physical therapy and xray facilities.
My personal interests have followed the expected changes associated with a new practice beoming an older one, and a new family becoming less new. Soccer games...board meeting...parent-teacher conferences...CME...they all compete for my time.
I still enjoy my (somewhat peripheral) involvement with the residency program through volunteer teaching. The program still seems to meet a variety of needs, where entrepreneurial self-starters and workaday compartmentalists can both succeed.
